Welcome to Artists and Artisans Inc., a full service literary management company representing writers of trade fiction and nonfiction.

After a brief stint at a renowned literary agency, Adam Chromy went out on his own to represent a novel written by a close friend. The gamble paid off and the book was sold on a preemptive offer. Since that auspicious start in 2002, Adam's fresh, rule-breaking approach has led to dozens of book deals at major publishing houses; several international and New York Times Bestsellers; and a number of performance deals for his clients’ projects.

In recognition of the importance of dramatic adaptation of authors' work for brand building in the increasingly competitive marketplace, Adam now spends half of his time in Los Angeles pursuing the film and television production of Artists and Artisans clients' books. And publishing veteran, Jamie Brenner, brings over a decade of experience to heading up and maintaining the quality and growth of the book division.
